What's New

What Dropped

Every update, fix, and new move — straight from the lab.

Ripiao tricks on the table, a streak that brings you back, and new bachata

  • New

Ripiao tricks play out on the table: each one flies from the seat that threw it to its target, a marked ficha says its mark from your rack, and the trick sheet, Chismoso's peek and the pickers have a new night look. Tranca stands on the end it closes and says who it's closed for.

  • New

When someone draws from the pile, you see the tiles fly to their seat, and a long dig counts up beside them (not in ranked games).

  • New

Come back tomorrow: after a game you see your streak and what tomorrow pays in Fichas, and Home shows your week. Up to three days of a streak you start as a guest carry over when you create an account, and with notifications on we tell you at 8 a.m. when the new daily puzzle is out.

  • Better

Five bachata cuts play at the table, a different one each table, in lighter files.

  • Better

Replays give the board the middle of the phone with every hand open, names show whole, and a phone on its side keeps a board you can read.

  • Better

Partner bots stop covering the number their partner shows, online stand-ins too, and Ripiao bots aim Tapón, Tranca and Chismoso where they hurt.

  • New

Seven new Learn articles: the Dominican domino table, the odds of a hand, domino records, where the word dominó comes from, domino words in Dominican speech, “los mirones son de cera”, and mano, manito and frente. The older articles now say where their facts come from.

  • Fixed

Signing in with a code: “Send another code” says when it sent, keeps your place, and waits after too many tries; a long username wraps inside its replay seat; a medal you tap in the bell opens that medal; and the rival's tile count stays on screen at an online 1 vs 1 on a phone.

Achievements that tell you, the daily puzzle at a real table, and more room on phones

  • New

Achievements, rewards and level-ups now show up as you earn them, as a card in menus and a small chip during a hand. The bell in the header keeps the last ones, and a finished challenge can be claimed right from its card.

  • New

The daily puzzle is played at a real table: your partner and rivals around the board with their tiles and passes, the last plays, and your hand on the rack. Tap a tile, then the end. A wrong pick gets a hint first, then the answer and what happened next in the real game.

  • New

You can try the daily puzzle without an account. Sign in to keep your streak and earn challenge progress.

  • Better

Your tiles stand in a rack with whose turn it is on a tab, the board gets more room on phones, and in a 1 vs 1 the pile sits in the bottom-right corner.

  • New

Report a club from its page, and a player from their profile card. Our team reads every report.

  • Better

Privacy: in the EU, the UK and Switzerland we now ask before measuring anything, Global Privacy Control is honoured, and Your privacy choices (in the footer) lets you turn analytics and ad measurement on or off.

  • Better

Wood tables are now one smooth veneer sheet, and the Pelota and Bate fichas pitch a ball and swing at the table.

Smarter bots, a fresh light mode, and a board that feels like a table

  • Better

Bots play from one five-level ladder on web and in the app, remember who passed, and you can set how fast they play.

  • Better

Light mode gets a fresh look: a blue-washed background, white cards and a blue main button.

  • Better

Tiles snap and glide onto the board like a real table, and premium fichas move at the table too.

  • Better

Signing up now asks for a code from your email, and the signed-in home is the same on web and in the app.

  • Fixed

Replays show every player's hand at their seat, a finished matchmade game shows its results, the hand shelf stays on the bottom edge, and older iPhones keep the table in place.

A table that talks back, a new game look, and three more tricks

  • New

A Dominican announcer now calls capicúas, every bonus, a blocked game and the match result. You also hear when it's your turn, plus new sounds for wins, losses and bonuses.

  • New

The end of each hand is called on screen in your flag's colours, landing with the winning tile.

  • Better

The table has a new game look: round and match results, the table and pause menus, play history, Ripiao tricks, Match Night, notices and toasts all match it.

  • Game

El Cuentazo, El Tapón and La Seña join base Dominó Ripiao, which now has eleven tricks. La Seña only appears at tables with partners.

  • Better

The coach gives clearer tips that say what to play and why, marks the suggested tile in your hand, and now shows on tablets and desktop too.

  • New

Scan a QR game invite straight from Games. The tutorial and Learn now teach how to play with your partner.

  • Fixed

The board opens centred, Tranca's end picker fits on phones, seats no longer show as taken by mistake, QR invites and saved rounds are steadier, and club image uploads say why a file was refused.

Score your table without an account, the same way

  • Better

Games kept on your phone now look and work like signed-in in-person tables: the same setup, players, teams, matches, game night standings, scoreboard and winner card. Bonus points are set from the table's menu, and creating an account takes you straight to setting up your next table.

Find a table, choose your partner, watch the action

  • New

Play online now brings finding a game, Open tables, joining with a code, watching live games, and Your tables together in one place. Browse open seats or use Quick seat to get to a table faster.

  • New

Hosts can keep a table Friends only or open it to Anyone, then start a full table with one tap. At a 2v2 table, move to an empty chair before starting: the player across from you is your partner.

  • New

Signed-in players can watch public games from Live now, follow the score, and keep watching as a series moves to its next game.

  • Fixed

Pase de salida and Paso redondo bonuses now count once in online scores, instead of being added again at the end of the hand.

  • Fixed

Readying up for the next game in an online series now starts it sooner when everyone is ready. Between-hand countdowns no longer cut the next pause short or promise another hand after the game is over.

  • Better

The daily puzzle now fits its full board on phone screens, uses your equipped Ficha style, and lifts your selected answer from the rack.

  • Better

Home, profiles, clubs, rankings, and Learn are easier to read and navigate on phones, with clearer controls in light and dark mode.

More action in Ripiao, and more control at your table

  • Balance

Dominó Ripiao charges Sazón faster and gives more active tricks. With a full meter on your turn, you can exchange Escudo or Espejo for another trick, or choose to keep your shield.

  • New

Choose a country flag in Settings → Identity. It appears on your profile, beside your name in the online ready room, and at new online and bot games.

  • New

Game settings now include separate master, effects, and music volume sliders, a music choice for local games, an optional second tap to confirm a move, and a picker for your owned Ficha styles.

  • Better

After two timed-out turns in a row, an away player gets shorter turns so the table keeps moving. Returning to play restores normal turns.

  • Better

You stay signed in longer between visits, and your optional measurement preference now follows your account across web devices.

Clearer house rules and an undo for the host

  • Game

New default rules award 25 points for Capicúa, Pase de salida, and Paso redondo. Chuchazo, Pollona, and extra Tranque points are optional and off by default. Your saved house-rule values stay unchanged.

  • Fixed

Capicúa now requires a non-double winning Ficha that matches both distinct ends of the board. Learn explains these bonuses and regional variations more clearly.

  • New

Removing a player asks for confirmation first, then gives the host eight seconds to undo an accidental removal.

  • Fixed

Matched games no longer repeatedly send you back through the lobby, and drawing from the pozo no longer leaves you stuck with an invalid Pass action.

Sturdier tables when the connection wobbles

  • Fixed

Losing your connection or locking your phone no longer kills your lobby or game — FichaFlow reconnects under a small banner and picks up right where you left off, instead of a dead-end error or a false "game over."

  • Fixed

A player the host removes now stays removed, and if the host adds them back later, they're let back in properly.

Push notifications you can trust

  • Better

Push notifications are more dependable: turning them on actually means you'll get them, and tapping a "your match is ready" alert takes you straight into the game.

  • New

While you're searching for an online match, you can now turn on notifications with one tap so you don't have to keep the tab open — you'll get a single alert the moment an opponent is found.

  • Fixed

Opening Characters — from the menu, your profile, or the shop — now always takes you straight to the Characters tab.

  • Fixed

Download My Data, in Settings, now works on iPhone too.

  • Better

Emails from FichaFlow now arrive fully in Spanish when that's your language.

A cleared medal stays cleared

  • Fixed

Claiming a Ripiao arcade medal now clears its Claim button right away, instead of still showing Claim until you reload.

Streaks, a second date, and an easier first visit

  • New

The daily puzzle now tracks your streak — current and best — plus how many tries you've used today, and you can share your result with a link.

  • New

When a game ends, the host can now book the same table for next week in one tap — settings, house rules, and everyone's accounts carry over, one invite goes out to the group, and everyone gets a reminder the day before.

  • New

Guests who finish a game are now invited to create a free account so their next games are saved — no pressure, and you can dismiss it.

  • Better

Getting started feels lighter: setup tips and quick-resume now show up for everyone, the starter-character prompt waits until after your first game, and guided tours no longer pop up on their own — tap the help icon anytime to launch one.

  • Better

If you play a game and don't come back for a second one in a day or two, we'll send a friendly nudge by email or push, in your language.

Straight into your next match

  • Fixed

Missed the moment a finished series moved you to the next match — a reload, a backgrounded tab? FichaFlow now follows you straight into it instead of leaving you stuck on a finished game.

A quick question, now and then

  • New

FichaFlow may occasionally ask you a short question about your experience — after a game or by email — to help us understand what to improve. You can always skip it.

Meet Maestro, and a few table fixes

  • New

Maestro is a new top bot difficulty — it reads the whole table instead of just its own hand.

  • Fixed

Fixed a Dominó Ripiao bug where a Cambiazo could leave a stale block behind and let the sweep bonus cap itself incorrectly.

  • Fixed

Resuming a saved table now reliably keeps your seat, instead of sometimes losing your spot.

Sign in with a code, and a crash we finally caught

  • New

Web can now sign in with a one-time code, the same kind the app already offers, alongside your password or Google.

  • Fixed

Fixed a rare crash that could blank the screen mid-game; the app now recovers on its own instead of leaving you stuck.

Club nights get sturdier

  • Fixed

A guest's seat now survives a closed tab, not just a refresh — reopening the invite link picks up right where they left off.

  • New

Hosts can name a team captain, redraw the bracket while it's still a draft, and leave a game they created without losing their seat elsewhere.

  • Better

An honest offline badge lets you tap to reconnect instead of guessing what happened.

More control before and after every round

  • Better

Play vs Bots now opens the setup screen first, so you can choose the format, difficulty, score target, and series before the match starts.

  • Better

Round recaps now distinguish your side from the rival side more clearly, with easier-to-read scores, points, and next actions.

  • Better

On phones, Play History takes up less space and the round-intro skip button stays compact and easy to tap.

A faster way into every game

  • New

Home now brings Play vs Bots, Create Game, online play, and matchmaking into one clear game menu, while keeping your latest active game ready to resume.

  • Fixed

Crowded domino chains turn sooner and no longer fold back over themselves, keeping more tiles readable on smaller tables.

  • Fixed

Club tabs now fit across phone screens, and member rows no longer stay stuck on Loading after their details have finished loading.

Run the session with fewer taps

  • Better

Creating an in-person match now starts it immediately, and hosts on mobile can randomize teams directly from the action bar.

  • Game

Hosts can turn casual-game bonuses on or off and choose how many points each one awards; those values now carry into the score correctly.

  • Fixed

Online lobbies and live sessions recover more reliably when the connection drops, and failed joins now explain what happened instead of hanging.

  • Fixed

Celebration cards now unlock sharing and saving only after the result is confirmed, so the final score is the one that gets shared.

More reliable offline play

  • Fixed

FichaFlow and Dominó Ripiao now load more reliably without a connection.

  • Fixed

Guest access no longer carries between different invite links.

A cleaner mesa, from setup to celebration

  • Better

Match Night got a full rebuild: pick 1v1 or 2v2, tune the score and series, choose the mesa, then drop the first ficha without digging through settings.

  • New

Practice now brings mano a mano against bots, optional pozo rules, live coaching, a cleaner Play History, and Cort Bachata right from the game menu.

  • Better

The gameboard gives every ficha more room, with a steadier shelf, sharper tiles, a tighter score HUD, clearer turns, and better use of the full screen on phones and desktop.

  • Better

Round-end, match-end, and XP receipts now lead with what matters: the result, the score, your rewards, and the next move.

  • Better

Running a game feels less like admin work. Creating the game, adding players, building teams, choosing a series or tournament, readying up, and keeping score now follow one cleaner flow.

  • New

Singles setup moves faster: choose two players and FichaFlow can build both 1v1 sides for you.

  • New

Celebration cards now keep full names, final scores, rivals, MVPs, and bonuses readable. Pick a light or dark share image, then send the image and caption on supported phones.

  • Fixed

QR sharing, Play History, puzzles, challenges, player and team forms, and other pop-ups now fit and scroll better on small screens in light or dark mode.

  • Fixed

Matchmaking lobbies now say what kind of game you joined. Online play also responds faster when you ready up or draw from the pozo, and tells you clearly when the connection is coming back.

Mano a mano, online

  • New

Online 1v1 is here — jump into a mano a mano match against another player, ranked or casual, straight from the Play screen.

  • Game

1v1 online now plays with the pozo: when you can't go, you draw from the pile instead of passing. It's on by default, and whoever creates the game can turn it off.

  • Better

  • Fixed

Fixed some screens showing untranslated labels — the home dashboard and the Play screen now show the right text in both English and Spanish.

  • Fixed

Fixed a few online game join issues, including a case where joining a full table could leave you stuck.

  • Better

Mobile navigation now opens faster and keeps Home, your current section, and the create-game action right where you expect them.

  • Fixed

Match history now opens correctly from the in-game HUD on phones, and the history and menu controls have larger, more reliable tap targets.

  • Better

If a ready check times out, FichaFlow now explains that you left the matchmaking queue instead of silently closing the prompt.
