Terms of Service

1. Agreement and Eligibility

Using FichaFlow means you accept these terms.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and FichaFlow ("FichaFlow", "we", "us") for the FichaFlow website, mobile apps and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use FichaFlow. If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.

2. Your Account

Keep it accurate and keep it safe.

Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it current. Keep your password and sign-in codes private. You are responsible for what happens on your account, unless it happened because of our own failure to keep it secure.

If you think someone else has used your account, change your password, sign out your other sessions in Settings, and write to support@fichaflow.com. One person per account; do not sell, share or transfer accounts.

3. The Service

FichaFlow changes and grows, and not everything is always available.

FichaFlow offers tools and games around Dominican domino, such as scorekeeping, online and solo play, clubs, rankings, puzzles, challenges, learning content and community features. Some features need an account or a specific device, and some are offered as previews.

We may add, change, pause or remove features, including through app updates that install automatically, and we may set limits on how features are used. We try to keep FichaFlow running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.

4. Community Rules

Respect the table and the people at it.

These rules apply everywhere in FichaFlow: usernames, display names, profile photos, bios, club and team names, descriptions and pictures, and how you play. Do not:

• Harass, threaten, bully or intimidate anyone.

• Post hate speech or attack people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics.

• Post nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, or content that promotes illegal activity, drugs or self-harm.

• Impersonate another person, a club or FichaFlow staff, or share someone else's personal information.

• Post spam, scams, advertising or links to harmful sites.

• Upload content you do not have the right to use.

5. Reporting and Moderation

Report what breaks the rules; we review and act.

You can report a player or a club from their profile or page. We review reports and may remove or change content, reset names or pictures, restrict features, or suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, with or without notice depending on how serious the issue is. Several reports from different players can restrict an account automatically while we review.

If you think we made a mistake about your account or content, write to support@fichaflow.com and a person will review it.

6. Fair Play and Acceptable Use

Rankings only mean something if everyone plays straight.

Do not cheat, collude, use bots or automation, exploit bugs, use more than one account to gain an advantage, or manipulate rankings, rewards or game results. Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe or attempt unauthorized access to FichaFlow or other accounts, or interfere with how the Service works.

If you find a bug, please report it instead of using it. We may correct scores, rankings and rewards that came from errors or rule-breaking.

7. Your Content

It is yours; you let us show it in FichaFlow.

You keep ownership of the content you add, such as your photo, bio, and club and team names and pictures. You give FichaFlow a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, adapt for display and distribute that content as needed to run, show and promote the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the content is part of other players' history or has already been shared.

You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it. We do not review everything before it appears, and we may remove content at our discretion.

8. Fichas, Characters and Rewards

In-game items are for playing, not for money.

FichaFlow may give you Fichas, characters, cosmetic items, levels, achievements and other in-game rewards. They are a limited, personal, revocable license to use them in FichaFlow, not property you own. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold, traded or transferred outside the features FichaFlow provides.

We may change, rebalance, rename or retire items and rewards, and correct balances that came from errors or rule-breaking. Items and rewards end when your account is deleted or closed.

9. FichaFlow's Intellectual Property

FichaFlow's names, art and code belong to FichaFlow.

"FichaFlow", the FichaFlow name and logo, "Dominó Ripiao", and the other names, characters, artwork, audio, code and content we use to provide the Service belong to FichaFlow or its licensors. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from them, or use them to build or promote a competing product, without our written permission. This does not claim ownership of the game of dominoes or of general game ideas.

If you believe something on FichaFlow infringes your rights, write to support@fichaflow.com with enough detail for us to find and review it.

My music lets you play songs from your own device. FichaFlow does not supply or share that music, and you are responsible for having the right to play it.

The scanner's pip detection is built on the "Pips" dataset by Dominos on Roboflow Universe, licensed under CC BY 4.0, and modified by FichaFlow.

10. Third-Party Services and App Stores

Other companies' terms may also apply.

FichaFlow may link to or work with services from other companies, such as Google sign-in or the app stores. Their own terms and policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for them.

If you got the app from Google Play, the Apple App Store or another store, these Terms are between you and FichaFlow, not the store. The store is not responsible for the app or for support, and its own terms also apply to your download and use of the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms for apps downloaded from the Apple App Store and may enforce them.

11. Ending Your Use

You can leave at any time; we can close accounts that break the rules.

You can stop using FichaFlow and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close your account, or stop offering the Service, if you break these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for FichaFlow or others, or if we discontinue FichaFlow. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as content licenses, disclaimers, limits of liability and disputes, continue after your account ends.

12. Disclaimers

FichaFlow is provided as it is.

FichaFlow is free to use and is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that scores, rankings or content will always be accurate.

13. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited as far as the law allows.

To the fullest extent the law allows, FichaFlow and the people who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill or game progress, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to US$50.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live.

14. Responsibility for Your Actions

If your misuse causes a claim against us, you are responsible for it.

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover FichaFlow for losses and reasonable costs from claims by others that arise from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your breaking of these Terms or the law.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

Talk to us first; New York law applies.

If you have a problem with FichaFlow, please write to support@fichaflow.com first so we can try to resolve it informally.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live if the law allows it.

16. General

Changes, and how these Terms work together.

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using FichaFlow after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and FichaFlow about the Service. If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or transfer of the Service.
